How CMMC Level 2 Affect Your DoD Contracts

By Walter Pierowski

CMMC Level 2 defines the cybersecurity requirements for organizations handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in Department of Defense contracts, requiring alignment with NIST SP 800-171 and validation through a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).*

CMMC Level 2 also applies to communications infrastructure that transmits Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). RF systems and signal paths must be designed to maintain signal integrity and system availability, as electromagnetic interference (EMI) or disruption can impact data transmission and secure communications.

Learn how CMMC Level 2 impacts communications infrastructure and supply chain requirements.
