PolyPhaser, part of the Protection Technology Group is pleased to announce the launch of the new DAS-P series. This sophisticated radio frequency surge protector offers ultra-low PIM characteristics and telemetry options for network systems where dc voltage is needed to power tower top electronics.
The DAS-P series dc block surge protectors offer ultra-low PIM at -155 dBc as well as outstanding throughput voltage of <50V 2kA and impressive throughput energy of <1mJ 2kA. The DAS-P meets IEC 60529 IP67 standards and is AISG and RoHS compliant.
“We are pleased to bring a superior product to the market to fill the need to support dual band applications where dc voltage is used to feed tower top electronics” said Stephen Dotter, RF Product Manager. “As these towers have become increasingly loaded, PIM interference has developed into a growing concern which the new DAS-P series surge protector effectively addresses”.
