Coaxial Surge Protectors
Coaxial protectors can be broken up into two types: DC Pass (GX™ Series) and DC blocked (SX™ Series). Typical DC Pass applications include bias-tee’s, injectors, tower top amplifiers, LNA’s, GPS antennas and any other application that uses a multiplexed DC signal on the center conductor of the cable. DC blocked coaxial protectors would typically be used on HF, UHF, and VHF radios, as well as, CDMA, GSM, and UMTS mobile communications equipment.
